Did I mention...

that we are moving to Morocco in less than a month? :) How exciting is that?!! I am super excited about this journey we are getting ready to start. We are super busy right now between packing up our apartment for storage and going through everything we are going to donate or sell in the garage sale to stopping services like cable and electricity in our apartment to figuring out our finances and who will help with those before we go to changing my name on every document ever to still filling out forms for the Peace Corps. Need less to say, we are way busy. I would say we are actually busier than we were before the wedding. Anyway, we have received our departure ticket. We are heading to Philadelphia at 6:45 in the am on Saturday, September 10. We will meet up with all the other Morocco volunteers there and have a day and half orientation and get all our required immunizations. I believe at that point we will all start the trip to Morocco together. It is so exciting. I have done a lot of things in my life, but this is one of the biggest and most challenging, yet also most exciting and wonderful things all at the same time. Anyway, we are also trying to make enough time to see everyone before we go. We are taking a trip starting next Friday, August 26, to go to Austin, Oklahoma City, and Amarillo to see our families before we go. Then, when we get back from that trip, we will have about 4 days to move all our stuff to my parents house, do all our final packing and head out. Well, enough rambling. I miss you all already and we will definitely keep in touch.

Making the move to Morocco

Well, we are almost done with the wedding thank you cards, which was quite a task might i add. :) Now, we are getting ready to begin the process of packing up our apartment in order to move to Morocco. We need to start packing and we also have to begin getting everything else in order. We talked with my parents about any advice they might have to help us out. They had some really good information. We need to change all our addresses and close out all our accounts with different service providers. It is quite a task, but I am certain it will be totally worth it as we live it up in Morocco for the next few years.

Well, other than packing and getting ready to go. We are trying to spend as much time with Gabe since his crazy fiance called off their wedding. He is still pretty down, but we are trying to be supportive. We are also trying to make sure we are able to see everyone before we go. Anyway, it is definitley the busiest time in my life, which means we are damn busy. :)

I also told everyone at work that we are joining the Peace Corps. Everyone is so excited and very supportive. I am so excited about his opportunity. Sometimes, I feel like I can't even contain myself. :) Anyway, I am off to do something productive. Take care.
