Wedding planning finishes, Peace Corps planning begins...
Sorry it has been forever since my last post, but the wedding fun and family times took over. The wedding was a blast. It was so much fun and it was so great to see so much family all together and having so much fun. The bachlorette party was a great time. We all went to eat at Simply Fondue. It was a 4 hour meal full of great conversation and good times. Then, we headed back to the hotel and hooked up with the guys. It was a great time. We played some board games and had some more great conversation. The rehearsal dinner at Fadi's went great. The food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and the dancing was so much fun. It was a great way to start the festivities. And the wedding was beautiful. The ceremony went very well. Our vows came out great. The only little glitch was that the bridal march did not come on, but all our guests hummed the bridal march as my dad and I walked down the aisle. It was so great. The reception was a blast. It was full of dancing, more great food, great conversation and many wishes of congrats and good luck on your journey. There was such an outpouring of love, it was amazing. It was so great to see everyone together. Then, we spent some time with Michael's family before they left and then with my family. Then, we headed off to the Ozark mountains for our honeymoon. It was short, but very sweet. We thought of it as a short breather between the wedding and getting ready to move to Morocco. :) We head a great time. The views were amazing and the little town of Eureka Springs was much fun. We took a canoe down the river and saw our cabin from the canoe. It was a very nice time.
When we got back, we had to go back to work. but we headed up to plano every night to spend more time with my family who was still here from lebanon. we had a lot of fun spending time with them. I am so glad they were able to come. Michael and I both cannot wait to go to Lebanon to see everyone. Yesterday, we headed up to Plano to help take all our family to the airport so they can head back to Lebanon. We also had some champagne and ate the top part of our wedding cake, since we will not be here for our one year anniversary. :) It was a great time. Then, we say my family off at the airport and finally spent some time just hanging out together. We saw Wedding Crashers and just played around at the mall. It was a nice time.
So, now we are working on thank you notes, still getting stuff taken care of for the Peace Corps, and packing up our apartment. Planning to leave the country is not an easy task. We are working on getting everything done. We are also planning a trip at the end of august and early september to go see some family before we head out. We are going to austin, then oklahoma, then amarillo, then michael is heading up to dubuque to see his younger brother. Then, we will be off on our way to morocco. Anyway, i am off to work on some thank you notes. Talk to you soon.

It's my Birthday!!!!
Yeah for my birthday. Even though I had to work today, it has still been a fantastic birthday. Friday, Michael took me out to a super fancy dinner and a movie at the Magnolia. It was a great time. dinner was delicious and we saw Mad Hot Ballroom, which was so great. It was about these 10-11 year old kids in new york learning to ball room dance at their schools. It was very fun to watch. Saturday, we hung out with the family in plano and got a bunch of wedding stuff taken care of. It was a great day also. Yesterday, we hung out with my sis and a few of her friends and then met up with some other good buds for dinner. It has been a fun filled, yet also very productive weekend. Yeah. Thank you to all for the birthday wishes. See you all soon.
