yes, I am still alive...

well, it has been a blur of Peace Corps work and wedding planning since my last post. When we got invited for our Peace Corps placement, we also got a flood of paperwork and stuff we had to take care of. Even though I already have a passport, I had to also get a no fee passport since I will be working with the US government. Anyway, I am very excited about the Peace Corps experience, but I am not very impressed with the organization in general. They are very unorganized and none of the different Peace Corps offices seem to communicate with each other. Anyway, enough about that. We are both very excited and have already started reading up about Morocco.

The wedding is getting closer (25 days to go per theknot.com). :) I think things are going well. We do wedding stuff ALL the time. Every evening after work, we work on the wedding. Every weekend, we work on the wedding. I feel like I am always on the phone with someone regarding the wedding or thinking about needed to call someone regarding the wedding. Anyway, I am sure it will all be totally worth it. I cant wait to see everyone. I cant wait to celebrate. It is going to be a blast!!

Two of my aunts have already come in from Lebanon, so it has been great to see them. My mom is very happy to have her sisters around. Amist all the wedding craziness, we did manage to celebrate Father's day this weekend. It was a nice day. We grilled some steaks and just relaxed a bit while still talking about the wedding. :)

This next thought will help explain how much this wedding has taken over my life. It is my birthday in two weeks and I havent even thought about it or what i want to do to celebrate. I feel like I dont have it in me to plan anything else, so I think Michael and I are going to get some dinner or something. Anyway, I am sure it will be a great. Well, i have to run, but i wanted to keep you all posted. I cant wait to see everyone at the wedding.
