Graduation is finally upon me

well, tomorrow is graduation day. At first I really wasn't looking forward to walking in the ceremony tomorrow. you know me, getting all dressed up, walking in heels, and being up and ready to go by 9 is not what I am all about. But, the more I think about it, the more I am happy that I am going. It is such a great achievement, getting my masters and all, why not celebrate in every way I can. :) well, after graduation tomorrow, the fam, mayling, leith, and I are going to get some lunch at P.F. Changs, then I will meet up with Michael, head over to miriam's for her party, then head back home to get ready for my party. What a day. I am so excited.

The job hunt is also going well. I was offered a position at the Bridge working with families and youth, but I turned it down for two reasons. First, I don't really want to drive all over fort worth to do therapy with families in their homes and second, I don't think it paid enough. I deserve more than it paid with a masters degree. So, the job hunt continues. I have my resume out at a place called SAFY (Specialized Alternative for Youth and Families) and that job sounds quite interesting and pays pretty well. I also have an interview on Thursday with Gladney Center for Adoption. I have always wanted to be involved in the adoption field in some way. I also have an application in at Arlington ISD for an Elementary School Social Worker. So, I have a few options available and am continuing to keep my eyes open.

well, I promised myself that tomorrow will only be about celebrating. No worrying about money, moving, jobs or anything like that. I am really excited about spending some good times with some good friends. Well, before I go, I want to send a big thank you out for all of you who stuck by me and offered me so much support in these past few years. You guys and your support and encouragement is a big reason I didn't quit this long ago. I love and thank you all. Good night.
