1 semester down...

and a whole lot to go. :) well, my last day of class for my first semester in PhD school was on Tuesday. I turned in my last paper and filled out my last evaluation for this semester. It feels so great not to have class anymore. It feels like I don't have ten thousand things that i should be working on. I do have some projects I want to work on during this month break, but if I don't get them done, it wont be like not finishing a paper. :) anyway, i think and hope i did ok this semester. I will let you know when i get my grades.

work is still work. still making major changes. One of my coworkers who has worked at the hospital for 20 years has given her 2 weeks notice. crazy. lots of changes, but we will see how it all plays out.

michael and i got our christmas cards made last weekend. they look really great and I am starting to work on getting the envelopes addressed and sent out. wish me luck. we also have started our christmas shopping. I am not sure what i am getting everyone yet, but at least i have started looking.

michael and I both have this weekend off, which has not happened in a very long time. we are looking forward to some relaxing time together and hope to get a lot of shopping done at the same time. :)

other than all that, all is well. i am looking forward to having a four days off at christmas time. i am also looking forward to christmas, i really love this time of year. i am glad to be back in the states for christmas. we got our christmas tree up and put up some lights in front of the house and it looks so festive. i am off.
