why can't everyone I care about live within a 5 mile radius?

Wouldnt that be great, if everyone you loved and cared about lived less than 5 miles away. that would be so great, then you would never have to miss anyone. Anyway, Jason left this morning. It is always so hard when he leaves. We all know how bad I am at goodbyes, but I was pretty good today. I guess I am used to it with Jay since he is always coming and going.

Anywho, the weekend was nice. Friday after work, I headed over to Jenn's for a birthday shindig. It was much fun. They cooked hens on the grill outside. They were delicious. Also, I had the joy and privledge of eating some cornflake potatoes. They were so good! At jenn's, we had great food, great company and wonderful conversation. It was a great time. Then, I jetted over to Michael and Tommy's b-day shindig. it was also a good time. Then, Jay and I headed back to my place and just hung out for a while, it was nice.

Saturday, I attended a baptism of some friends of the family. It was very unique because the boys that were getting batpised were older. In our religion, you usually get baptized as a baby. So, it was really great to see that these boys had chosen to get baptised on their own. It was their decision, not their parents, which I think is great. Then, I headed home for a bit and Jay, Deb, Dan, and Ted came over to hang out in the nook. There was much relaxing, much hookah smoking, and a fiesty game of Friends Trivia (thanks, Leslie). Leslie and Andy joined us for a while in the nook. I believe this nook idea is pretty darn amazing. Well, it was a nice evening.

Today, I said goodbye to jay. :( Then, I spent most of the day decorating my room and running errands. It wasnt the most eventful day, but it certainly was productive. I am looking forward to 2 weeks of 25 hour work days with no school and no internship. Sounds like a good time. i might actually be able to see my friends during the week. :) I miss you all. Well, i am off to paint my nails. wish me luck at my first full week of transports at work.
